    Hello everyone

Hello,I am Alex and I do weld.I am a heavy equipment and semi truck mechanic which I do some fixing including broken off bolt extraction using a mig welder.Started with my late dad whom passed away 3 years whom taught me at an early age.He was a diesel and auto tech.Taught me when I was 10 years old and learned a lot,one is lots of practice.Started with a Lincoln Electric arc welder working up.Then it was the mig welder and then the tig welder.Still good at it to this day and amazed my dad at the same time.Saw I was a great welder being a female and I am glad he believed in me.I also make my own specialty tools out of cheap throw away tools with no warranty using a welder.I am 39 years old and turn 40 next month.A veteran as well, did 8 years in the Marines which I am proud of following my dad's steps.Still have the arc and mig welder I learned how to weld with.

I have easy outs in my toolbox that rarely get used.My boss was amazed Thursday when I had to deal with a broken off bolt.Welded a nut on the broken off bolt and came right out

I hate easy outs, they rarely work and they break if side loaded at all. I have about 4 or 5 different styles, some work better than others but still! The tapered ones will expand the bolt in the hole and multiply problems.
