    another FNG

    Hi All,
    New to the forums, but I have been reading them for about a year now. About a year ago I took some welding classes and found out that there is so much more to welding than I ever thought possible. So now that I have the basics down I realize I still have a lot to learn.

    Yes there is so much to know which is why there are so many different specialties in the trade. Squirting metal out of a Mig gun is super easy and any one that has not learned the fundamentals of metallurgy could not understand why a weld that looks good potentially really isn't.
