    Miller 330 a/bp

I have a Miller 330 a/bp that's not running at full capacity I'm only getting about 250 amps out at the highest setting. I have it on a 60 amp breaker which I know isn't large enough but it doesn't even trip that. I have checked the taps and it looks like they are set to 220. Where's the next area I should be looking? I would like the higher amperages so I can use it to gouge. Thanks.

The easy thing to do is to check the copper contacts on the range switch. Make sure they're clean and making good contact. Are you using a pedal? There might be a fault in that. There might be a problem with one of the rectifiers.

No pedel just stick welding. I'll have to check the diodes and rectifiers and maybe give miller tech support a call. Maybe work the range lever back and forth.
