    Question Millermatic 35 feed issues

    was having problems with erratic wire feed. Took to repair shop, was told that 15' lead was too long for this machine?

    Did you replace the gun liner?

    Check drive motor brushes?

    BS. Buy a new whip and gun from HTP and let it rip.ANY half decent mig machine will shove a wire through a 15 foot whip. Learn to tension and keep the machine at a distance so the liner is half straight.

    I have a 35S I recently purchased without a gun. Still need to plug it in to see what it does. Are Drive rollers still available for these machines either oem or aftermarket?

    In the 35 the wire speed is controlled from the weld output of the machine with the knob to fine tune it. If you have erratic weld voltage you will have erratic wire feed.
