Hello form. And so the journey begins...

First steps have to happen sometime, so here are mine.
Decades ago in a shop class I did acetylene and stick.
I really enjoyed acetylene, so now I'm just entering TIG and my jaw has dropped from the startup costs aside from the welder itself.

I've referenced this form many times in buying my equipment, so I thought I'd just join.

I'm looking to do thinner stock Aluminum and Stainless mostly.
    Ready, set, begin

Thanks Bonzoo, The one purchase I’ve made so far is an Everlast Tig, Stick & Plasma (164si). Now just need a boatload of support including installing 240 power for garage and finding the right gas supplier. Excited (learning) & frightened (cost) all rolled into one.
