    Supreme MK IV vise

As the title says, I have a Supreme MK IV bench vise, swivel base. I love restoring older tools but this one has me stumped. Supreme is nowhere to be found. I need replacement jaws, 4 inch long with and attaching screw holes spaced approx 2 1/8" apart. Also, need replacement swivel base tightening screw.
I'm just a hobbyist so my knowledge is limited in looking for correct pieces.
Including a pic of the vise.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your vise is a fairly common imported model that somewhat mimics the Wilton bullet line of vises. I think they were all generally made by a couple of foundries to the same basic shape with slightly different markings.

Generally speaking, parts for imported vises aren't available. You can sometimes find parts on eBay, but normally that's vintage U.S. vises only. As far as jaws go, there might be a set of jaws made for another vise that just happen to fit, but it'll take some searching. There are a couple of guys who sell parts on eBay and they might have something that would fit...just takes a bit luck.

Any decent machinist can make jaws, since making a new set to hold specific bits of work is a standard practice.

    Pretty cool website G-ManBart!

WOW! I've broke a couple vises but WOW!!!!!
    What is the story there?

Somebody put something round in the jaws vertically, then tried to unscrew it. I bust people's chops for trying to unscrew big pipe in my vises. Then I tell them "That's why we cant have nice stuff".

No sense of humor? That was a joke son....I say, a joke son (Foghorn Leghorn) In case you're too young to remember Foghorn...….. http://foghornleghornquotes.com/fogh...ghorn-sayings/

Although I'm a bit confused. "GManBart gets credit for this photo" would lead one to believe that the pic was copied from another site, which applying clear headed rationale, would further lead to the assumption that said pic is from another person's shop, other than your own(reiteration for your understanding).

To further put your mind at ease...……… I also have a shop radio/cd player. It can spit out sound from Waylon one day, Miles or Coltrane another day, and even The Four Seasons on occasion. I don't like to commit to one genre. I do, however, draw the line at Liberace (). Although I like to think of myself as a pretty tolerant dooood, I can only go so far I get off the bus when I see sequins

You say audiophile like it’s a bad word... lmao...

Coltrain? Yeah... I’m down with that.

I’ve got a system in my garage that will blow your head off.
