    Welding Tabs

I have been flame cutting my own welding tabs for years. It is a long process to grind off the slag and clean up the edges. My buddy turned me on to stamped welding tabs. What a difference. Ready to weld. No oxidized edges to deal with. As our shop has gotten busier we can't afford the time to make our own tabs. Good source is weldtab.com. Also found some on Amazon. Hope this helps.

That is about all I use king for. Nice to grab and weld. If there is a need, the it is tough to justify making them for the price on 100.

I found it interesting in the OP link. One part in a photo had a badly sheared edge. That part would not be a time saver.

There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.

Me too.I can freehand good enough with a plasma and soap stone to make whatever I need from the scrap bin.
A quick trip through the blast cabinet and they're ready. The other scrap is flea market art
