    I thought you probably did but mention it for others that might not think of it . A pair for straight vise grips will help.

    I would suggest that think for your needs get the makita and for the long cuts either cut off wheels in a grinder or get a metal cutting circular saw.
    According to me Makita LC1230 is really good tool to choose, no doubt it makes lot of sound when to operate and yes expensive enough but the best problem solving tool with noisy solution.
    Only buy original once.
