SA 200 Project final stage issues.

I've been rebuilding this SA 200 for a while and I'm hopefully in the final stages. I took this short video to show the issues I'm having. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds good! Have you checked the oil pressure switch to see if you have current on both sides of the terminals after cranking up the machine? That could be the Issue. As for the High/Low idle, double check the connections at the PC board and the switch. The low idle solenoid seems to be doing it's job of idling the engine down.

I myself have run into the same problems after wiring everything up, and because I got in a hurry and over looked things. It's easy to do when you get excited about wanting to hear it run again Lol!

Thanks man, I'll check the Oil pressure switch and see whats going on there. And I'll also check connections on PC board.

Checked the connections at the board, all seems to have good connection. The checked the Oil pressure switch with a test light, gorund on one side power on the other, my test light lights up when the engine is off but my test light wont light up when the engine is running, seems backwards to me?

You should be grounding the test light to the chassis or negative side of the battery, not the switch terminals. Sounds like you may have the wrong kind of oil pressure switch.
The wires that stay hot with the engine off are the ones that come from the alternator and or battery, and are only connected to one terminal of the switch, then when the engine is running, power should be coming through the other terminal to feed the PC board, and oil light.
