Need help with Millermatic 180 auto-set and off-brand spool gun

I have a Millermatic 180 auto-set and I recently bought a generic spool gun off of Ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/US-SELLER-1...4AAOSwO09c3NcW).

If you read the description it says, "Millermatic 180 Auto-Set ( Included switch needs to be installed.)", which I took to mean that the spool gun came with a switch that needed to be installed, however after getting the spool gun and realizing it didn't include the switch, the seller told me what they mean is that "the included switch with the welder must be installed". Regardless---I do have the option of returning the spool gun, however I'd prefer to get this spool gun up and running.

Does anyone have some expertise in what switch I should be looking for? Is it this: https://www.weldingforless.com/produ...smart_campaign

    or this:https://www.ebay.com/itm/MILLER-2337...-/201447764994

I'm certainly not spending $75 on a switch. Does anyone happen to have a schematic? Looks like a DPDT with some wires and resistors.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hans

I found some additional information on this forum from posts I wasn't able to find. I ended up ordering the $20 switch. I intend to post a schematic of what I purchased so that in the future people will be able to make their own if they choose, probably for less than $20, and certainly less than $75.

    Keep us posted, thanks
I've been everywhere but the electric chair, seen everything but the wind...the only two things I can't weld is the crack of dawn and a broken heart!

Alright, my wiring harness arrived yesterday so here is the first update to at least show what you get for $20. It's quite simple:

The switch is a pretty standard DPDT on-on 6 pin.

The connector with blue and yellow connect into the welders feed motor power, from that connector each wire passes through a re-settable ptc fuse (the orange disks in the photo). The fuses are WH60 185. You can see the full specs here: http://www.wondhope.com/pptc/WH60.html Basically trips at 2 amps at 60 volts. In a pinch you could do away with these, but why risk it.

Update two will come after I actually connect it to my 180 auto-set and make sure that it works. I'll provide a full wiring diagram.
