    Blue Demon 3/32 7014 Electrodes

    Having trouble finding 3/32 7014 in 5lb.

Most of my rods are Hobart, but can't find Hobart 3/32 7014 in 5lb.

    Found these on Amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...k_ql_qh_dp_hza

    Anyone used these?

I’ve used the 1/8 7014 from Hobart. They ran well on my buzz box but I don’t have a wide plethora of other 7014 to compare them to.

Bunch of different brands on ebay.

    https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...sc=0&_osacat=0

But a 10 pound box is much less per pound.

In a 10 lb, around $28 is pretty common.

5/64" Blue Demon are cheapest by the pound in that listing on Amazon. I have some but haven't used any.

I realize and it wasn't even what he was asking for either.
Don't burn much rod. Mostly tig. No experience with the cheaper stick welding rod.

No doubt but if it is what you want and you don't use a ton it may be better than buying $28 of something you don't like, at least IMO. Lol.

Wasn't looking for the price ? It's the Hobart he preferred is all. Might be why they have it in stock. Lol. Can you find the Hobart in stock and cheap ? $50 -$65 or more seems to be the price at 30 plus vendors.

I use Blue Demon 7014 in 5/64 , 3/32 and 1/8. It is an excellent general purpose rod. I highly recommend it.

Prices can vary wildly on Amazon. Use something like the Keepa Amazon Price Tracker to watch price changes over time so you know if you're getting a fair value.

I seen some at Tractor Supply last week 3/332 and 1/8, not sure the size of the box anymore. They were Hobart, I don't know anything about this Blue Demon brand. I never used any 7014, not much use for them in what I do

Some of those prices are outrageous! Amazon has those kinds of deals on some stuff, One particular example was a yard cart I looked at, about $90 for a single unit or if you wanted a bundle of 3 it was around $400 IIRC, I can't imagine that anyone with a brain cell wouldn't see that .
