Another New Guy to the forum

Hello. I have been welding for a while at home. I took a college class a while back and have been using the skill off and on. I like to race cars and though I haven't been as serious as I would like to be on account of the kids and other obligations I want to put a cage in my car in the near future. My wife and I also have a horse farm and being able to weld has been pretty handy.

I have a pretty entry level Lincoln 180HD welder and an Amico CUT50 plasma cutter. I also have a Lincoln 125HD, but that one isn't working very well so I haven't used it recently. The feed wheel shaft is bent so it doesn't feed smoothly. One of these days I need to do something with it...

Roller tension is important with those feeders. When it's right, it's right.
