    Trailblazer 250G remote 14 question

    Hello
I have an early 90's TB 250G. I bought a Spoolmatic 30A to run off of it, along with a WC-24 to connect it to the machine. When I plug in the WC-24 to the machine it immediately goes to weld/ power speed. I'm just wondering if that is normal or if there is a wiring issue in the WC-24?
The Spoolmatic works great! I was thinking the engine would idle until I pull the trigger on the gun. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,if you have the WC-24 box plugged into the 115v jack for power it will idle up your trailblazer just like when you run a grinder .

The WC-24 only plugs into the remote 14 receptacle.

WC 24 runs on 24 vac. and yes there is 115 and 24 vac at the 14 pin plug.
The 115 volts is being removed in a lot of new machines.
And yes it is working right. when current is being used in the 24 and 115 volt supplies, the welder speeds up.
