I have been kicking around the idea of picking up a battery impact. I already have dewalt 20v tools. Wondering if anyone had opinions on either the 1/2 or 3/8 impacts.
I'm looking for something to grab quick to pull a wheel or something similar so I dont have to pull the air hose across the garage. I had planned on the 1/2" but then thought the 3/8 might be handy for other jobs since I have the 1/2" air.
I guess I am wondering if they are a decent purchase. I know they wont replace my air impact, but I just don't know their limits.
Thanks for all the info. I think I'll start with the bigger 1/2" in the 20v so I can use the batteries from my other tools. I'm still intregued with how the 3/8" will work on every day stuff.
Ordered it wednesday and it was on my porch this afternoon. I played with it a little, and it will remover the lug nuts on the wife's car with what seems to be no effort. I'll try it on the truck lugs, but I think its going to be a useful tool.
