This is for bending automotive-type exhaust pipe, which is thin-wall. No way is it going to bend oilfield tubing.

Quite the opposite. It is not a mandrel bender for thin wall tube. It is made to bend pipe in the field. It's a 16 ton press, which will bend sched. 40 with no problem. Only question is if it will handle anything over 2" in Dia. That would be the real question!!

He's talking oilfield tubing, not schedule 40.

The ad says:

Oilfield line pipe is MILD steel.

Line pipe, OK. But not N-80. He didn't really say exactly what he was trying to bend.

It will ALL bend pretty good if you drop it a mile or two!:laugh:
