First off, I wasn't sure where to post this so I just put it in "General". I own a few older welding machines and love to tinker with them and keep them running. I've found the forum very helpful when I come up with problems. I was wondering how people are cleaning the insides of welding machines when you pull the "tins" off. I've been using 30-40psi of compressed air to blow out the dust, but doesn't always get all the dirt out. I've used Electro-contact cleaner with fair results, but at $10.00 a can it adds up. I've read that some people hose out the insides and use a box fan to dry them out. Anyone care to share there methods?
