I was running 035" solid wire and wanted to switch over to some 045" dual shield. I changed the drive rolls to knurled .045" and the liner is .035"-.045" so that should be fine. I'm running it off of my XMT and the output was 20v, the feeder powered up fine and showed ocv and ipm on the display. I loaded a new roll of wire and fed it through the rolls about 1" into the gun end. The feed rolls had the tension backed off pretty much all the way. I pushed the jog button to feed the wire and it fed about 4" and stopped. The purge works so I know it is not the button and when the gun trigger is pulled the contactor clicks and the gas solenoid opens but the motor does not turn or make any noise. Is that the sign of a blown feed motor or according to the manual a PC1 board? The reset did not pop out and the unit has not been used since yesterday. There is a 60' round trip of lead so voltage drop isn't an issue. It was a rental machine but is under warranty. I'd like to know if there is any resets I can try before sending it back?
