It seems like the go-to around the 'nets/shops is to just 'replace power board'.
I inspected a Hypertherm Powermax 30 XP for a friend and found that the "TOP247YN" was literally blown up and one of the legs went with it too. I soldered in a new one (everything else looked OK) and it's still not showing any signs of life (no LEDs light up when switched on).
Does anyone know what it would take to refurbish theses motherboards?
