It had JB weld on it and I knocked it off and it looks like someone welded stainless over it in a huge area but it cracked right through. Any ideas how to fix this? I need the tractor and it leaks to much to let it go another year. Any ideas would be appreciated.
.
Try JB Weld steel stick.... it's a 2 part epoxy stick. it works much better than the tube/liquid stuff.
carb clean spray it, wire brush... etc.

Until you can tear it down and weld it...

I've had very good luck with the steel stick.... if you prep very well.

Kenskip just reminded me of something...

Do a search for John Deere corn head grease.

I've used it in my leaky lawnmower transmission

Also a couple manual steering boxes in old cars.

That with the JB weld steel stick
Will be a homerun.

Ok
Wasn't sure how much it held.

Good for smaller boxes

I ran that stuff in a bmw motorcycle transmission
For 90,000 miles
LoL !!
