do you mean this one?

http://www.grizzly.com/products/4-x-6-Metal-Cutting-Bandsaw-w-Swivel-Head/G9742

how does it work? good/bad?

and can you make it cut in the vertical position?
it does what i ask, but i have nothing against which to compare it. i dont do production work . the hardest thing i asked it to do was rip through 6" pieces of 3/8 plate 2 at a time on a 45 degree angle to prebevel pieces for stick practice. i gave me no problems.in order to clamp a cut smaller pieces, i built a seperate work support table that attached to the fixed rear vise member . this would be the same issue oin the jet if you wanted it to do that type of work.
never tried to use it vertically.will take a look and get back to you.almost sure you could do it, might have to rig something up like a table to slide the work on. it definitely is not discussed in the manual as something they want you doing.
i have no complaints at all with it. well ok the adjustment thingy on the auto shutoff doesnt seem to be the best, but i dont walk away from the saw so autoshutoff aint so important to me. probably correctable if i wanted it .
