Looking to buy a TIG welder!

"Broke college student" and TIG don't really go together. $$$. You could cobble together a scratch-start TIG rig with a used stick welder, maybe rent a tank of Argon for a year. What is your power and workplace setup? Do you need a small inverter for portability and power efficiency?

I have seen one or two used Maxstar 150 units for in the neighborhood of $450. ESAB 161LTS is economical, dual-voltage and portable, though it doesn't have a gas solenoid or remote input.
