One machine does it all AC/DC CC/CV
MIG, TIG, SMAW, Aluminum tig
Single phase, hooked to 50 amp breaker. I bought this machine about ten years ago and only used it occasionally. I'm a Pipewelder by trade and get enough welding at work. The machine itself and the s-22a wire feeder are both from 1995.
Everything works just like it should and has been very well taken care of. I've had a cover on top of the machine since I bought it. Everything is included except the bottles and half spool of wire.
Shopmaster 300 includes two lenco stud adapters and approx 10-15 feet of 8/4 SJO power cord. It also has the four wheel cart w/ handle and duel bottle rack.

S-22a wire feeder. Set up with 0.35 drive wheels. Miller brand MIG gun.

Not a bad price at all for someone looking for a good mig / tig / stick machine. Considering it's priced at what a new MM212 will probably run you, it's not a bad price for just a "mig" with more duty cycle and output power. The tig and stick functions then are just a "bonus". It's got a bigger foot print, but I doubt you really wouldn't notice the difference.

I have a late model Shopmaster, one of the last two in Miller's warehouse when they discontinued it. I can verify it is a fantastic welder for both SMAW and GMAW. I never tried to GTAW with it so I can't comment on that. However, I believe mine is labeled 230 1 phase, 92A input at rated output. I have ran it at my house off a 50A circuit with a 50' 6/3 extension cord, GMAW and not a problem. But I believe if you want to really take advantage of it you'll need a 100A circuit. This is a good price for the condition it's in and with a 22A feeder too!
