I have an old bug zapper I want to use to make a squirrel zapper on a bird feeder. I've tried just about everything else including shooting them. New ones come along within hours. I don't want to kill them with a zapper but I wouldn't mind sending a strong message. I know these Bug Zappers are designed to fry bugs. Are they powerful enough to injure or kill a squirrel or just buzz them good. I think I read somewhere that they may be up to 3000 volts. Don't know about amps.

I used to have a squirrel-killer cat. He was 3 feet from toe to toe when he laid down and stretched. Fastest running cat I've ever seen. He would just wait for them to get in the open and run them down. Ate all but the head, tail and lower intestines. Sometimes in the house, LOL.
