ok was playing around with a tig machine my buddy let me use it because i said I wanted to learn to tig. Here's a photo of some of the beads I ran tips and pointers are welcome.

Miller maxstar 150 set at 70 amps 1/8 inch plate.

OK Zap I have been doing some reading on mill scale removal what would you say is the best way to remove it?

I have seen muriatic acid, hydrocloric acid those would be used to totally remove it and leave it smooth. but I was wondering if zap had a safer method.

Looks like you may have cleaned the rust off that pipe on a bench grinder and not got it quite clean enough. Did your arc turn green while welding this? I know i've had that problem when practing TIG on scrap metal and not getting it clean enough.
Yeah I kinda left my good grinder at work. I couldn't tell if the arc was green because the lense is green.
