I have an old Lincoln 225 stick welder. I’m trying to use it on a 12,500 watt generator but it welds way too hot. I have it set way down to 90 and it will still burn through 1/4” steel. It’s useable but quite challenging. I’m trying to come up with a way to make this work. Any thoughts, suggestions?
