Hello X83, Miller has the Invision MPa system, Thermal Arc has a "SP" system, I believe it's called, I am not sure about ESAB although it is likely that they offer a system as well. Check these out. Good luck and best regards, Allan

I was looking at the Thermal Arc welders and they have something called twin-pulse but not sure if it’s the same as pulse-on-pulse welders. The Miller MPA is just a pulse welder with advanced arc controls which allows adjustment of the cone shape.

Pulse-on-Pulse is Lincoln's name for it but other manufacturers have similar programs. Thermal Dynamics calls it Twin Pulse, Miller calls it Profile Pulse, etc.

Fronius and OTC have it as well but their trade-names escape me at the moment.

I think fronius invented it.

been trying out the Lorch Saprom twinpulse on aluminium recently, and it's awesome.

they have some very very sophisticated programs with feedback loops different to most machines, and their speedpulse and speedup (uphill pulse mig with steel wire) has to be seen to be believed.

Everlast has a pulse on pulse unit. It offers single or double pulse. It is the Power I-MIG 253DPi
