Hey all new to this forum I just moved to our new house and have to re setup my welding equipment i need to know what size wiring i need to run for my welders. The breaker panel is on the opposite end of the house as the garage and the wiring run is approx 115 ft there is a unused 60 amp breaker i want to use to feed my 100amp subpanel i have that is set up with all the recepticles i need for my mig and my tombstone mig is a 115v lincoln 100HD i also run my 5hp compressor from this panel i had it fed with a 60 amp at my old house but the run was only 25ft also can aluminium feeder wire be used and if so what gauge.
