[KD Welding]

So I have a bunch of this exergon 106 it was free to me. I decided since i didnt think i liked it I'd use it as hard facing rod.
Well after running alot of beads I think I like it
I was on search to see where to buy it and this thread popped up. I love reviving old threads.

All hardfacing beads are xergon 106 I think 1/8"

I used it because I didnt want to burn up my 7018 running hardface beads.

When you hardface anything in order for it to be hardfaced it needs to be welded with a hardfacing filler. Even with that they're is more to it than just grabbing a single box. Some fillers are build-up fillers to be capped with a different hardface that usually are not designed to have any further passes run over them.
