The cutting of steel is carried out by the heat of burning the steel, so it is the oxygen that cuts the steel actually not the acetylene or propane....

TIG brazing is amazing as someone else mentioned. Do not listen to the people who say "use AC TIG," only use DC TIG and you can braze things together...
