Has a question happened to any of you that when turning on a Thunderbolt 225 XL, none of the 2 secondary transformers have output? neither the low nor the high. What could it be? I tried it with another selector shaft from another machine and it does not generate the 70 volt output either. What could that be?

you can use a wire splice like this...to connect both sides of the break..fan blade should be cheaper than that...just look for one on amazon and make sure you get the proper rotation one..

Thanx hobbytime , ya it’s aluminum taking it out to get at it better my all thumbs hand slipped and broke the fan blade. JB weld back together, If that doesn’t hold I guess a new one is only about 15 dollars.

Most modern welds today have aluminum. I would use splice in copper wire. Using Split Bolt Connector for Copper and aluminum and Anti-Oxidant Compound.

I have found this works best for high amperage.

I’ve got a miller thunderbolt that needs the transformer lead spliced . Thought I’d ask someone who maybe had a better idea and the best way to splice it together again. Thanx !!!
