Yes didn't seem logical to buy tons of bentonite or rolls of pond liner when a pig can possibly do it and get a return on my investment along with experience.

That electric fence will work until you get all dressed up to go somewhere, and then you're going to be chasing pigs in your freshly pressed tux. Start looking for cheap sources for page wire, but they will burrow under that too. With them outside, you'll probably need to hit them with Ivomec a couple times a year for internal parasites.
Nine and nine tenths of the time I'm leaving this property, I'm leaving as if I was staying here. There is "some" Meshian in those, but isn't the reason I got them, they are there to gley the pond I dug for emergency wildfire, maybe keep a few ducks around and fire break right by the pole barn. I heard the Meshian part in them won't want to test the fence too much, there is about 18 joules to fry some bacon without touching the fence, I have done it. I have heard of the ivervectim thanks to Covid and what it's really meant for.
If I keep these beyond the fall it's cause I seen they are worth it for how much money is going out and coming in.

About those pigs and ducks and geese and wow almost got a full operation going here. Did I mention last time I got fired back in October after working a week there cause I wasn't "fast" enough I came home looked around at all my equipment I have looked at my pole barn and it all came together.

Yeah we are expanding 20 more acres to 124 acres, getting pigs next week to gley some ponds and expand the meat selection. Even got goose eggs already dropping and I'm incubating them!

I put a heavier pulley/hook combination and that straightened and keeps thing straight.

Been busy with other things folks, for now closing off side wings. Been dealing with building my LGD (livestock guardian dog) a house, putting fence up and expanding the ranch here.

Yep. A sudden release of tension or the load makes things get interesting.

I believe it's tightening due to it's load. Rated for 880 lbs on the lift and I have went up to 700 lbs, but I wouldn't push it due to the cable looks too thin and weak. Rather put a synthetic rope on it for my situation as we all know what happens when you take tension off a cable winch wound up, cable goes every which way. Might put some 850 para cord on it for grins or 1/4" shock cord.

It's fine, I got it in the archive and we all get busy in life. No way one could get a fridge up here on just a ladder, there is no stairs yet much less a washer and dry.

Going to wrap the drain pipes too, I'm pretty sure the sliver of water left behind will freeze out here over and over till it built up ice blocking everything up.

Hopefully come next winter we have kinks worked out and a wood stove running by then, I might get it this winter. As right now it's hauling 5 gallon jugs up the lift for running water.
