Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash VIRGIL, you sound like you have about as much use for unions as I do. There was a time when they were necessary but not so much any more.

Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash I watched 35 UNION Firepersons stand around the lawn of my buddy's house and watch it burn while the $750,000 truck sprayed water supplied by a 5" hose on the roof with a remote controlled Monitor while the Firepersons assembled their lunch order. They didn't try saving the house or shop because Don is a Blacksmith/Weldor and had welding tanks that their laptop said might explode. Besides, the Company initially dispatched arrived late due to staffing, and the second company dispatched 3 minutes later was already arriving. AND, my favorite "That's why people buy Fire Insurance." Minimally 10 Million bucks of firetrucks were parked on the driveway and road when I got there, and 20 Vol Firemen were standing by at the road. First year UNION Fireperson around here makes $65,000 a year for riding the big truck and visiting the grocery store with the BIG TRUCK to pick up grocerys for their next meal. I own extinguishers for a reason. I also have Fire Insurance cause I don't depend on UNION Firepersons arriving promptly to camp on my lawn. I also remember when Vol Firemen knew how to knock a fire down with the water on the pumper, and got to the fire fast enough to do it.
Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash I watched a firefighter walk into an active propane tank fire and turn off the valve before the pumper crew got any water on it to keep it cool.

Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash Hitting a stopped tractor trailer on a highway, while speeding your welding supplies truck is a minor aacachievement. His sister lit a candle which turned out to be a stick of dynamite from a road runner cartoon
Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash I saw the same video but longer, a few years ago. In the description it was said it happened somewhere in Russia and the truck burned/blew up for something like 45 minutes or so. I believe it was titled "Highway To Hell", but that only shows up now as an AC/DC song.
Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash Couldn't pay me to be in the same zip code let alone film it I love the one cylinder goes over the trees like a bottle rocket
Re: Welding Supply Truck Crash amazing the idiots that stand around watching....
