Thanks for the update. And yes, the cuts look pretty good.

The saw works well so far. I only cut one way and it cuts pretty straight out the box. I'll have to play around with it some more. I was a little disappointed to see scuffed up and half coming off stickers before I tried it, but they will likely wear off at some point anyway.

Ahh, just south, eh? Victor? Avon?

Our farm was over between Auburn and Skaneateles in the northeast of the Finger Lakes. A lot of my money went to schools over your way. I went to St John Fisher, our daughter went to Nazareth and a son (and daughter in law) went to RIT. The two at RIT and Naz were there while we had another son at Syracuse. The bills were eye popping for the 2 years they were all in college at the same time.

Let is know how the saw works out, please.

    Best regards,

Where in CNY are you? And you must have been very good last year as Santa brought a pretty nice present.

    Best regards,
I'm just south of Rochester, technically finger lakes region.
Yes, indeed I got a great present. I think it was also a response to the greenhouse I built for my wife last spring. [emoji2371]

I've got a few project ideas I want to try, but I really just need to be practicing welding some more. I just ordered a hemsaw femi 782xl so that will make cutting the scrap metal I have easier so I can practice welding the scraps together. I'm excited!

    Hello from WNY

Hello all. I joined as someone in another forum pointed me in this direction to gain some more information about handsaws and welding. I am learning to weld as it's something I've always wanted to learn and I got a Lincoln 210MP for Christmas. I've enjoyed most aspects, but not metal cutting with an angle iron. So far I haven't had as much time to practice as I would like, but I have completed a couple projects, a lamp and a grinder rack. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and hope I can learn, share what I've learned with others, and have fun with my new hobby.
