    Rob and John,
Thanks for the info. It was really simple. It was my setting on the forum here. I kinda thought that all along just brain freeze I recon. Instead of looking first I made a dumb post.

Default thread subscription mode was set to weekly. One click set it to instant. If I decide to use again sure it will be fixed.

    Thanks so much again.

    Re: Email subscription.

my only advice to Daniel would be to attempt an email provider other than Yahoo. Mine is powered by gmail and seems to be pretty reliable. Yahoo is definitely one of the 'flakier' I see across the communities I work with.

    It’s fine with me
I prefer to have everything shut off
The less emails the better ... LoL

I just wanted to say that Daniel is not the only one seeing this.

I don't know what to say, as you can clearly see I am getting all of these updates immediately via email. Not via tapatalk.

    Email subscription.

The only notification system I use is Tapatalk on my phone.

    It’s instant and works flawlessly.

    Re: Email subscription.

I noticed the same thing quite some time ago

Sporadic and after the fact notifications.

When I acquired about it I got the same answer from Robb

“ must be on your end”

    LMAO...

    Yeah OK.

I solved that problem by turning off all notifications and subscriptions.
But every once in a while I will still get one in my spam box.

    BTW
This is the only forum that I have ever had this problem with.

    Re: Email subscription.

Regular yahoo account that accepts emails instantly. Might be a setting on the forum that I need to change in my profile possibly. ????
I get about 10 all packed in one email about 3 days after the fact.
In a way I guess it is good or I would get way too many I suppose. Thought about that too. If it was instant I would get too many. I guess neither way would be perfect in my case. I think removing it was best I guess was curious about the delay is all. Maybe just mine were arriving late because of a setting. Maybe even one I set long ago and forgot.

    Email subscription.

Not complaining just asking about this.

Having subscribed to the email for when a thread has a new post seems a complete waste of time to send these 3-5 days after someone has made a new post.

By the time you get the email the thread it is emailing you of a fresh post being made is usually half way down the page it is so old.

Just don't see how having this function could assist anyone interested in staying up with posts made on the thread.

After getting these the last few years I just finally unsubscribed myself because they seem to serve zero purpose. Just more email to delete or add up.

Am I missing how these could be of any use to anyone ?
