looks like the solution which most accomplishes getting to run the most efficiently on 1 phase,

hadda unload this thing into a semi trailer I use for storage, deck of trailer sits about 24" higher than the open tailgate of my truck.... if I dont figure out how to get say a MILLER plasma torch to work with this thing it will make a hell of a boat anchor a friend of mine whos no stranger to free weights and myself barely got this sucker into that trailer and when we did the really cool steel 3" wheels that are all fixed position (you can roll it forward and backward any deviation bout takes a winch and 3 snatch blocks) were more of a hinderance than an aid, clearly gonna have to build a cart for this thing... with wheels that actually steer, one very solid piece of equipment

    P/TRON 30 plasma, TIG, Stick

O.K its amazing what follows me home some days... yes it runs at least we powered it up at the machine shop it was living at.. however as the shops owner doesn't have the plasma torch or TIG torch we just checked it out for power at terminals etc.. he bought it at an auction 5 years ago and never got around to setting it up..... now I have an excuse to build that 3 phase converter I haven't needed before now... I'm thinking will try to figure out what modern torches I can re-purpose to work with it... especially that 125 amp plasma... the guy wanted $300 I gave him $100 and made him and his helper load it in my truck.....

    anyone got any ideas?
