    I did that with my 120 volt welder now happy with 240 volt no walking to breaker box.

    Controlled Systems S.A.M. MIG welder

    New to the site and welding in general. I have a 110 flux cored only unit, not the best. I also have a older Controlled Systems S.A.M. MIG unit. I have been thinking about selling both units and buying a smaller 220V unit. Mainly because of size, the S.A.M. unit is quite large. Thoughts?
