    Most of the smaller machines have a couple second post flow now days. It's designed for those who weld stainless. Nothing hurt on the other processes except a few cents worth of gas out of every tank. Also if your burn back isn't turned up more than needed, Post flow can help keep the wire ball to a minimum.

    Typically shuts off when the arc does. Would not bother me for a second or 2 of post flow though to keep the wire stub clean.

    when using c25 is the gas flow supposed to shut off immediately after you release the trigger or should it flow for a second or two before shutting off.
