There are certainly a WHOLE bunch of challenges. Sounds like we started in a similar way. I’ve done anything from bespoke motorsports roll cages, massive sanitary stainless structures, to stainless industrial railings, and everything in between. However, I don’t lay any beads, and it’s really holding me back. Not being able to weld holds up the mock up process a lot, and it needs to change. I would love to find a welding course, however, I don’t think I could get through all the fundamentals. I know they are important, but I’ll bever do this professionally, nor will I ARC weld, oxy acetylene weld, or braze. Awesome skills, but I can’t devote the brain cells to it right now, as I know educational settings take a ground up approach. A dear friend of mine, passed down his miller TIG 180 or 200, so I think I just need seat time and guidance. Aluminum is a top priority for me now, however, I’m not sure this is a good place to start. Good luck with your journey, thanks for sharing

My education starts here Hello everyone, as odd as it sounds I have been fabricating for many years, professionally on the side, but I have always had welders to back me up. Fabricating is my strength, but now my education in welding is underway.
