I don't think it can be replaced as opposed to the heavy duty swivel pad

Quality is excellent "for the price "

For comparison here it is on the right compared to a Bessey 2600# SQ-8 ($90-$120cdn)

    Attachment 1782487

Same 8" capacity. The Bessey has 1/2" more throat depth, a more robust swivel pad and is a full one pound heavier.

    Princess Auto pad...

    Bessey swivel pad...
    Attachment 1782491

The thread quality of the PA is good but I am uncertain of its longevity.

The quality of the Bessey is superior but more than 3X the cost.

The 6" steel casters are on sale for $22 until Sun. too. That cheap 1/0 aluminum cable is working out so well I might grab a couple more for the trailer winch... won't see much use anyway.

I tried the 4.8x8 ones a while back and they weren't worth crap. Even though they can't deflate, they do go flat sided in the sun with very little weight on them (it was on an 6" x 8 ft auger for the screener). I also tried them on the sprayer booms and they were coming unglued in 20 mins.

I had four more of those semi-pneumatics in my last order too... last ones ended up on the hopper for the 10" swing auger.

At work I replaced the cheap air filled tires with those cheap solid ones on the stands for our outboard engines. I have been happy with the new ones so far for a year or so.

And yes, the generator had a stand and handle on one end and wheels on the other but it was a pain moving it while holding it up on one end. This was I just have to pick it up to turn it, a lot easier.
I had a hand truck like that and I didn't realize it had plastic wheels. I looked at the rating and it said 30psi, at around 25 the complete outer ring of the rim blew off. It would have hurt like a muther had I been in front of it, scared the crap out of me.

soaking works best. usually overnite will do.

it works really well but gets a little less effective each time you use it

longevity depends on how cruddy your material is.

that said, it is very cost effective imo.

I’d been waiting for Evaporust to come on sale but PA isnt currently carrying the pails.

The [emoji849][emoji849]old solution in my pail is useless now so I dumped, washed, and refilled it with 3.78 litre ( one gallon) jugs.

of course they design it so that 3 jugs isn’t enough and 4 jugs is too much [emoji35]

btw. You will know when the solution needs replacing because it just plain doesn’t work. [emoji849]

PA has the cheapest etrack when on sale BUT if you need extra rigidity because of voids on mounting surface buy made in USA Erickson brand as it is 12 gauge as opposed to 16 and 18 gauge import stuff

Vevor and Amazon etrack is only 18 gauge WITH the powder coating

old truck with Erickson etrack ....

yes. all you need is a slip fit. putting pressure on the screw kicks the clamp off perpendicular and it binds in the hole.

One thing nice about generic brand clamps is you don’t feel too bad about butchering them…..

I’d probably have a tough time putting a Bessey in the chop saw. [emoji23]

Good weight to them (5 pounds each) and somewhat comparable in quality to the Bessey equivalent at $102cdn.

I know I’ve mentioned this before but my store went from unbelievably bad to stellar.

I stayed away for a few years but it would appear management and staffing changes occurred the same time as the store renovation.

    Re: Canadian Members---Princess Auto

Princess Auto is fantastic when you need a hyd. hose made on the weekend! High quality hose and fittings and they also blow the foam plugs through to clean it. Good price too. Usually but not always (depends on who you talk to) if you ask if something ever goes on sale they will look it up and give you the sale price even if it's more than their within 30 day policy. I got $30 off a manual nozzle for my slip tank. The guy wouldn't give a deal on a 20ft. hose. The 14ft. was on sale but out of stock. I mentioned to a woman at the customer service counter that I wanted the 14ft. but it was out of stock. She looked up the 20ft. and said the best should do was the last sale price it had. I got $30 off it too. Saved $60 just by asking. I think the 1st guy had a bit of an attitude because the hose was more recently on sale than the nozzle. I also got a hammer crimper for about 1/2 price and a different style of tire inflator at the sale price just by asking if they ever go on sale. Ased about a ball pein hammer but they only go on sale once a year and I couldn't get the sale price. Didn't need it that bad so bought one at KMS Tools on sale. A coupler other items I got on sale were a huge saving even at reg. price. Stub axle assemblies and the wheels and tires to fit them. The reg. price for the wheels was about $25 less than Canadian Tire and I got them for about 25% off the already lower price. Exact same tire brand. I used them to make gauge wheels on my box blade. Big wide tires with bolt on wheels and greased bearing hubs not the crappy bolt for an axle wheels like on hand carts. Greased them up and are basically maintenance free unless I pull the box blade down the highway at 110kmh days on end. If I recall the 2 hubs and 2 wide wheels came out to about $175.00.
