iirc members slob and virgil went off grid a while ago. i'm glad to hear slob is doing well.

Maybe he felt out of , I mean after all he was just a hobbyist, LOL. I always liked his posts & he always had an illustration of any particular weld.

That may have happened when the site was going through transition. He always seemed to wear a thick skinned welding jacket to me.

Pretty sure I saw a new posting from him since the latest "upgrade". Not sure why I thought it was him, different username to be sure. Mentioned the health issues, now i am wishing I had been paying more attention.

Yeah, He's an hour plus north north west of us... I haven't been over by his place in about 7-8 months though.... we go north a lot but more east.

I used to communicate with him via email occasionally but lost the addy.

I know he had been having health concerns related to his job related accident years ago.

i was thinking of him over the last couple weeks along with rog. i'm going to pm them now. fingers crossed. me should've done this long time already as my T&T friends say.

I was wondering the same thing, thought of him the other day. It seemed his posts were less often, then after the "crash" pretty much ended.

I hadn't seen postings from him for a while and noticed his last log in was in January. Anyone know where he went?
