Re: hobat stickmate lx ,leads Thanks guys , that is the same drawing on the cover inside. What is off is there are 4 transformer legs on the switch ,two on one lug but i think also where i pulled the screws were the correct spots. As for the leads , i run a thirty foot extenson on my 220. That way it brings my mig & stick out to the same work areas. I will get her wired up today and try it out. thanks on the manual link seems to be correct always helpful with a used unit. let you know how it works out.
Re: hobat stickmate lx ,leads leads connect to terminals 6 and 2, 2 should be the one with the transformer lead, 6 is just below the mount. looking at the back of the switch, count clock wise from two to six. look close at switch, numbers might be molded into switch
Re: hobat stickmate lx ,leads OK, It's an AC only machine, so you don't need to worry about which connection is typically + or - like on an AC/DC unit. It won't matter which lead is the ground and which is the stinger on an AC only machine. here's the manual for that machine I believe. http://www.hobartwelders.com/om/0900/o950c_hob.pdf If I'm reading the wiring schematic correctly, it looks like one lead attaches to where those screws are missing on each terminal. Maybe Duane or Steve can double check me since I don't do a whole lot with wiring diagrams. Attachment 534541 Since you have to put all new leads on anyways, I'd look at either adding panel quick connects or short leads with quick connects on them so you can add or subtract lead as needed. I upgraded my Miller Thunderbolt ( same basic machine you have) to them so I could use my extra leads on it if I needed to.

hobat stickmate lx ,leads picked up this welder leads were removed . I am sure they go to the select switch ,but to what lugs? any help will be great.thanks.
