    God is good.

    Remembering our Risen Savior…

“For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Yhowshua Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.” Romans 5:10-11

Science vs. God?? Let's start it off by acknowledging that, if you believe, God gave Man the ability to make decisions.

You either believe in Science as a dogma, or you believe in Religion as a dogma. It's a matter of choice.........God given.

I have no quarrel with either. My beliefs are my own, but I accept all other's beliefs. Farmer Sammm.

To wish that things would go back to "pre social media" might just be a false thing.

There was a time, in this country, that people burned "witches" at the stake. Happened up in the Northeast. It was social media at its worst. People who had an axe to grind, focused hatred on the people that they hated, and actually got them killed in a horrific way. So.........there's always been some form of social media. And, it's always been perverted to fit the maker of the claims. Disinformation is nothing new.
when Gar, initiated the term "social media", it is clear to me he was referring to weld web/internet chat, and his 2 yr absense. when i felt the need to explain it for smith, i stuck to the original terminolgy. as far as the "false thing," and "disinformation " u speak of, it reminds me more of ur thread "would u wear a mask if...." - as a condition to back to normal. the reason why that was so memeorable to me, is that is was such a false hope, and violates some religion(s), and lacked science benefit

Its best to avoid black or white stances.

I don't believe in science as a dogma, it has its place but will always be limited.
I believe in God but don't belong to any religion.

K'kins comes from a religious family. She, and her Mother, live by their religion. They don't flaunt it, they don't include God/Jesus in every sentence they utter. THEY LIVE THEIR BELIEFS. They do good by others, as they were taught. They're humble servants in the true meaning of the word. They don't have Jesus tatooed on their arm. They are the people that will give you shelter when your house burns down. And, they don't care if you're a believer in their religion, another religion, or a nonbeliever. They do what they've been inspired to do.

Anybody that gets in your face, and starts spouting religion as an end-all-be-all, is generally a Charleton. It generally winds up in a request for money.

Politicians are, likewise, infected with the same virus. They claim to be acting on God's behalf. Geez.............does anyone believe that crap? True believers act, others talk. Actions are stronger than words.

The Joel Olstien's of the world take your faith, work it against you, and profit from it. It's a damn shame.............but maybe it's just a testament to the gullibility of people. God shouldn't need an advertising agency...........he should be apparent in everything you experience during your short time on this Earth.

Statesmen in this era do not get elected. Politicians do get elected.
I believe you sell your soul to get your name on any important ballot. By the time your name appears on a Congress, Senate, Presidential ballot You have favors to repay. Moral people don't put themselves in that position.

Thankful today for so much! My wonderful family, friends, and neighbors. Grateful for the freedoms we have left, and the ability to keep them. Grateful for the state of Montana where I harvested my first elk three weeks ago with a rifle I built.

Grateful this thread has remained respectful and that we are able to express our thoughts about science and God. God has given us all the ability to see what He has made, and with that discover more deeply how great He really is.

Pray you all are enjoying your time with family this year. On another note, has anyone heard from WelderMike, how he is doing, etc…

name one you are not guilty of.
All have fallen short, "all" means human, unless you're perfect or dwell in a cave somewhere.

We come together when we highlight our similarities, not our differences.

those are the deadly sins of humanity, they're yours and mine just as much as anyone elses.
easy to see in others but we are blinded to our own.
