Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yup. In that application. Once it is cured it is nearly impossible to get it off anything including your hands. I also used it to seal the holes in an oil pan that was rusted though. Not big holes just pin holes. It worked okay for that too for a while.

Re: Small Shop Guys What is a tool you use frequently that is out of the norm I agree I have 1/2" and rarely use it but I had for 40 years. I found electric 120 volt last longest and I do not to run a air compressor. Battery power is great till the battery dies now I have a costly draw filler. Re: Small Shop Guys What is a tool you use frequently that is out of the norm Haven't had that problem. It's just that it's a relatively small belt and they just wear out quickly. I haven't tried ceramic ( if they are available) , just zirconia.

Re: Small Shop Guys What is a tool you use frequently that is out of the norm Come to think of it, I think you can get " trim cuts" with 3)8" 24 thread.

Re: Small Shop Guys What is a tool you use frequently that is out of the norm Yea... I might still get an Aircat if I find I'm using this one for things that annoy me. It says max. 4" disc.... won't take 4.5" with the guard on? $250 Cdn. all in... that's better than the $312 I got quoted last time..... https://www.amazon.com/AIRCAT-6275-C.../dp/B00U24VGBQ

Re: Small Shop Guys What is a tool you use frequently that is out of the norm Power tools from Harbor Freight I only buy Dewalt with cord as they keep going and going and still going. Dave PS very few things I buy from HF If I can not fix or upgrade I do not buy HF Originally Posted by Oscar I bought one from harbor freight thinking it would be great to grind out tack welds or bad welds (I do a lot of those ), but it is severely under-powered, even for harbor freight quality, lol.

Right now I'm doing a lot of wire wheeling on some rusty paint, and it's good for that. I noticed on the grinder that I can still feel particles getting through it though ( not too surprising being a screen ) so it will require safety glasses under it while using the grinder.
