Abrasive saws are better on wire rope, IMHO. I'd think the teeth on this saw would tend to pull the wires apart unless already crimped inside an aluminum sleeve.

Yesterday I responded to a Freecycle ad, and just got done unloading 1). a heavy-duty front-tined rototiller; 2). two medium-sized joiners; 3). a set of small OA bottles; 4). a Delta Drill press; 5). a 4-conductor #2 cable, set up as a battery jumper w/ big clips; 6). Two big cans of scrap aluminum sheet & cut up ladders, plus an Al. wheel ; 7). Misc. stuff like spray paint, irrigation tubing, antifreeze, epoxy, a never-used car water pump, ...

Yesterday I got (different place) a 12" Radial Arm saw on a cabinet w/ 3 drawers, and a differential hoist (prob. 1 ton).
Haven't had time to really look at most of this equipment yet.

$120 Cdn (about $85 usd) for both.

The bottom ones are all common and not worth anything. This is the first time I have seen the style like the big one in the center. I will check it out online.
In general, they are not worth much and I buy a dozen or so at a time or pretty much every one I can find for less than $10 each. A quick Ebay search shows they are usually selling on Ebay for not much more than I paid for them.

I can turn them into twisting wrenches and make much more money on them.

They might be worth a bit to tool collectors. Better check for blood on them. I think a Monkey wrench was Col. Mustard's weapon of choice. Any brand names on them?

Reminds me of times past & also that I have a Ulano Glide-Liner hanging on the wall in the garage. I used to hand cut silk screen stencils back in the day.

Yes. I will wire wheel or sand blast them again to clean them up some more. I weld the opposite handle on them and then coat with BLO.

Either way... can always use another broom. Small town stuff...prizes aren't impressive but the entry fees are cheap. Leaves more cash for the bar...

No no no I replaced the light right after I discovered it missing and scanned the Hwy shoulder next time I was up north to Elk Grove. No luck finding it, some one else got it.

This was the light I lost with the 2ah battery.

I know batteries are more convenient than corded, but I've never left a drop light in a truck. Kinda hard to when the light is tied to the shop with a power cord.

Funny thing about this 2ah battery is it replaces the one I left under the Bronco attached to the magnetic swivel head flashlight. It fell off the Bronco on S. HWY 99 just leaving Elk Grove. I heard it fall, looked in my mirror and saw something sliding and bouncing around behind the boat trailer but could not tell what it was. I figured it out later when I went to use the light but could not find it. Then realized how I left it under the bronco as the last place I could recal using it.

You're pretty good at spotting that stuff on the side of the road. Lately I've found a nice 10" Snap on adjustable wrench and a big oil filter pliers on the road.
Once found a nice Remington .223 bolt rifle in the ditch but called a sheriffs deputy friend to run the serial, He put me in touch with the owner that reported it lost. Dummy left it leaning on his truck and drove away after a coyote hunt. He did give me $200 for finding it.

CL Rockwell 12" Disc Sander/Grinder. Works good. Not a stole it deal, but happy with the purchase. Used paint stripper to remove 30 - 40 years of contact cement from the disc. Have been looking for one for a long time. Will make a metal stand for it someday. Might even do some resto paint - someday. $250.
