Help with Miller Trailblazer 250G Hello folks, I'm a newbie here. I've lurked for a few years but only recently joined. I have a 1986 vintage TB250G which runs great except for a few things I'd kind of like to correct. Back in 2005 while I was using it for standby power during one of the many outages we had, when I started it after refilling the fuel, it wanted to accelerate continuously so I installed a mechanical stop device so it would not go past it's normal working speed. This has been on there since then and we've arc welded quite a bit since then and it does a good job. Recently I noticed that it does not want to go into idle mode. The only speed it knows is working speed. I'm somewhat familiar with the electro magnetic device which controls the speed but I do not know how to adjust it or if it's just bad. I replaced this item back in 2000 and it was working fine until 2005. Now some years have passed and I'd like to perhaps sell this little welder but I want to make it right first if possible. I was reading along in a manual I found online for the welder but when it got to the part about adjusting this item it just refers me to the Onan manual which I haven't been able to find anywhere. Can anyone share with me the proper way to adjust the electromagnetic speed controller and is this also the source of it's no idle condition? Or perhaps have a digital copy of an Onan manual for reference. I appreciate this forum very much and thanks to all in advance - it's a great source for related information. Best regards, Pedro
