nothing fancy. just making frames for experimental doors.
Some pictures of us fitting up an equipment elevator for a mine. In the for ground of the first picture is a three man elevator for the same mine as the larger elevator in the back ground. In these pictures it is far from completed.

Awesome guys, nice work.
Docwelder, I like those BESSEY clamps. :cool2: That's money well spent. It's nice using quality goodies ! :D
Nice stainless work, Mike.
I'm not allowed to take pictures. I work for the Government. :(
Lot's of monel and stainless pipe. Occasionally I get a mild steel pipe and get to show off. Being the new guy in the yard, all the old heads try to avoid the harder work and it gets dumped on me. Though I can't complain. One FNG crapped up a stainless pipe and he's been the chipper/grinder ever since.
It's Thanksgiving today!

THat's what I thought too, then my tractor broke this morning. Fire it up...
This is what I was working on today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oTw-OmWa7o
No welding today, spent time with the family. This week I built a deer stand for the boss. All I have left is the hand rail for the ladder.
That's a nice looking deer stand.

Thanks seabee, that's the the seventh one this year. 5 stands 4' tall and stationary, and two 8' tall on skids. He has some very nice fiberglass boxes to put on them.
Great stair! Love the way you handled the bar grate.
Last pic - main frames for a metal building on the truck? Looks like purlins & girts on the rack.
Good eye Fab4Fun, that's what's on the truck and racks. I work for a metal buildings company and it has been a very good year. Actually it has been good for the 13 years I've been there.
A old friend's company t-shirt said "We Get it Up!"
Glad to hear you're busy. They have been too. Construction can be pretty "up & down" though ...
didn't want to spoil the pic with crummy welding lol. not really in invention mondo more like an innovation. we've had a few suicides here lately and were building a electrically controlled steel framed cell door with lexan making up the majority of the surface area to give more visibility to what's going on inside. if you're interested pics are here under "lexan cell door" also welding lugs on and bolting all 4000 beds to the concrete floor. mucho ot. who says crime don't pay??
welding lugs onto beds for anchoring to floor.
Not very exciting, but one of two identical handrails.
