Started making different aircraft weathervanes. Made from 12 gauge steel, 1”pipe for the base, 1/2” cold rolled for the axle and supporting the axle with a sealed bearing at each end. Welding them up with 1/16” ER70. Last photo is my practice soccer ball with 32 sides.

Attachment 1718405 I stayed in the crawl space, and K'kins was in the house measuring cracks in the drywall, and watching the level on the floor. It all worked out, and survived two minor earthquakes a few years back.
