Is the round thing to the left in the first picture a radiator?

Yes. Somewhat of a precooler to take advantage of the tempurature delta between room temp air and the hot coolant from the torch. The hot coolant enters at the bottom and exits the top and is dumped into the bowl of the tank. It shaves off a few degrees.Originally Posted by forhire

@ shovelon - the integrated kart-H2O cooler is slick. The diamond plating look is pro all the way. Gleening ideas for a future build....

I keep thinking a baseboard fin tube heater would make a good convection cooler.

What are you cutting those smooth circles with? Plasma?

The toe kick units have a lot more fin area in a smaller space. You could also use a car radiator without a fan if the capacity is large enough so heat saturation isn't an issue.

Everytime I see that 700 I feel like less of a man for only having the 280.That thing is such a beast.

Terry let me run that for a bit bob.....It's awesome the amount of power it has but he does weld 1 inch and thicker plate with that and as i learned you need it to get the puddle going ...Watching Terry run it it looks simple...It's not at least for meEverytime I see that 700 I feel like less of a man for only having the 280.
I love your cart, btw, the plating makes it rock.
The only thing i had a problem with was the torch and supply cables are something that would take some getting used to ...That is not your common tig torch and cables and is kind of awkward in my hand
