Don't think it will fit a W-201 handle. Uses a W-300 handle. Would be better to sell the handle and cutting attachment complete. It's a shame Esab discontinued the original Purox torches. I much preferred them.

Purox was my fav too. The only thing with the 300 is they had 2 threads for the knobs. The courser one would bump too easy so they went to a finer thread. Easy to cross thread if you replace with the wrong one. They were so nice to repair compared to others out there at the time.

I love my purox torch set. I bought it on craigslist for $150, bottles and all. Shortly after I bought them I had a regulator problem that required repair, and these were the Purox regulators with the lifetime warranty. I sent them in and they sent me back a brand new set of R-720 regulators in the retail packaging. I have been able to find all the cutting tips and welding tips I need/want on Amazon. Even got a scarfing tip for it.

I find Purox very ergonomic. I especially like the short turned up cutting lever far better than the long Victor lever and if you're using the cutting attachment for heating you can flip the lever back so you don't accidently hit it. They went to marking the thickness the tips are generally used for too instead of trying to figure out what the numbers mean. Esab discontinued the original Purox, came up with their own style that was crap and now they've bas-ardized the Victor torches because some Esab designer wanted his name associated with them. What a way to pi-s off customers.

I have the Oxweld W-17 with a CW-23 cutting attachment that came free with a bunch of stuff I bought at a yard sale, if I recall Oxweld is in the same family as the Purox models mentioned here. What a great torch, and fits my big bumbling hands great and I am not always bumping the valves like on the Victor. I found a whole bunch of tips on ebay and got them for $25 shipped. It's my go-to torch for just about everything except when I need to use my circle cutter which only fits my Victor.
