Thanks for helping us old guys out, like the corners. Are you gonna close up the opening ??? I can see kids jumping in and out and having a good ol time. Or even grandpa cutting in front of grandma.

Good idea, you did quality work on that , now get rid of these chains they spoil everything , your structure with a little gusset will be over rated for its job... Wall anchors will be the weak link. Name: photo-70.jpg

these doors take lots of abuse. the mounting bracket is only attached to the top door rail by 5 spot welds and they break after prolonged kicking and slamming. after chopping off damaged sheet metal with a 4 1/2" cut-off wheel i re-positioned the bracket and welded it with 3/32 7018 at 100 amps. i then put a sheet metal cap over the welded bracket and then skip welded it to the door with 3/32 6010 at 65 amps. pics #'s 2 and 3 should be reversed. the center picture is the finished product. sorry for the poor picture quality. i took them with my flip phone.

I was going to make gussets for it but i did'nt have enough steel laying around but i did have the chain so i just used that. The 2 lags that will be attached to the angle iron would be enough to hold the load but the top brace would make it a bit more secure. I finished painting it and mounted it to the wall this morning.

Here is what I've been doing the last few days.
They are for portable bleachers. The company has 75, and these took it to 80 sets.

I don't have the right equipment to cope them......but I do own a sledge hammer

Yep they are flattened just a little. And I used one of his old frames as a jig.....minor alterations and we were good to go.

Nice job on the brush truck. I had to mod some side boxes to fit beside a tank on ours. My guess is that's why you made these right?

Made this so I could Wok outdoors. 210k btu burners, gets the job done.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390321619.062897.jpg

All bent 11 ga sheet metal besides the legs. Rolled the wind deflectors for the burners out of 11 ga also. Legs fold down so it can be used as a turkey fryer or fish boil as well. Valves are under the front tray. Side shelf (on floor in 2nd pic) attaches to hold your ingredients. Have a stainless griddle that covers the top as well.

My landlord owns a grocery store, he uses several of these carts for putting out freight:

It was used as a "sawhorse", and someone cut most of the way through the closest bar with a Sawzall. (Sorry, did not take a "before" picture. Use your imagination.)

So I used one of these to weld it:

I laugh when I read about people needing lots and lots of amps. Paralleled machines, huge electrodes. Hiroshima, Fukushima, etc. Most of my work is done using more modest settings. This is as low as the Millermatic will run, I call it "Puppy Love".

Here is the end result, cant tell where it was cut. Repainted with "Miller Blue", heat lamp to dry it.

We had some floor drains with covers made of plastic and when I drive over them with the forklift they break so I started to make some out of steel. I forgot to take a picture of the plastic one. But here is the steel one I made yesterday. Name: image.jpg

Weird, was just going to google "Welding EGR" haha. Can't see myself spending $nearly $300 for a delete "kit" when I own a $4000 welder haha thanks for that, any tips?
